Walk for Thought/Cycle for Safety
Participate in our Walk for Thought/Cycle for Safety fundraiser, which brings together members of the community to raise public awareness and celebrate the achievements of people living with brain injury. All members of the public are welcome to take part in this event. More Information
Legislative Network
Are you interested in having a say in the political process? Join our Legislative Network to play a role in improving the quality of life for people with brain injury. You will be provided information about public policy issues at the state and federal levels, and will learn ways in which you can help to advance the goals of the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey. CHIC
Become a member of the Council for the Head Injured Community (CHIC), a committe comprised entirely of individuals with brain injury, whose goal is to empower members to become effective advocates for brain injury-related issues including, but not limited to, housing, employment, relationships and communication. Support Groups
Join a support group near you. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with brain injury and their family members to meet others who are in similar situations. More Information
Committees
Many of the association's committees welcome new members. By joining a committee you can help to plan and organize various events, raise awareness in areas of brain injury, assist with education and research, complete important tasks, and helo in decision-making processes. Resource Database
Individuals and private practitioners are invited to join our Resource Database, which is used by our Information and Resource staff to provide callers with information about brain injury programs and experienced professionals committed to providing quality services to individuals with brain injury.
