Diana Starace
Distinguished Champion of Injury Prevention Award
Diana Starace, President and Owner of StarAce Consulting Group, LLC, is the recipient of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey’s 2026 Distinguished Champion of Injury Prevention Award, recognizing her more than two decades of leadership in injury prevention, education, and community engagement across New Jersey.
For over 22 years, Diana served as the lead for the Injury Prevention Program and the Safe Kids Middlesex County Coalition at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s Level I Trauma Center. Working alongside dedicated volunteers and community partners, she led initiatives addressing unintentional injury, violence prevention, and risk reduction for individuals across the lifespan.
Diana’s longstanding partnership with BIANJ began in 2003, when she reached out to the organization early in her career. That initial connection grew into a meaningful collaboration supporting bike rodeos, safety education programs, conferences, and statewide injury prevention efforts that have reached countless New Jersey residents.
Beyond her work with BIANJ, Diana serves as a member of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, providing leadership on the Healthcare Committee and Speakers Bureau. She is also actively involved with the American Trauma Society Trauma Prevention Coalition and serves on the planning committee for the Annual Violence and Injury Prevention Symposium. A past Chair of the Trauma Center Association of America Injury Prevention Committee, Diana was honored with the 2023 TCAA Circle of Excellence Award for her dedication, leadership, and outstanding contributions to the trauma community.
