Run/Walk/Roll with us!
The 5K/Walk for Brain Injury Awareness brings together over 1,000 families, friends and supporters of people with brain injury. It raises funds that are critical to the services the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey provides.
With locations in Paramus, Bradley Beach and Mt. Laurel, we celebrate brain injury awareness statewide.

FAQs
Everyone that attends the event must be registered to participate. Children under the age of 2 do not need to register.
Yes, day of registration will be available at bianj.org/5kwalk. After you complete your registration, show your receipt to the check in table to receive your t-shirt and/or bib (bibs are for 5K participants at the Bradley Beach location only.)
It is encouraged that Bradley Beach 5K participants pre-register and check in at packet pick-up the night before the event (Friday, October 8, 2021) to minimize crowding.
The great thing about participating virtually is that you can do it on your time, your way! Get active whenever you want, or join us virtually on October 9th.
Take photos when you walk, run or roll and make sure to tag us on Facebook, (@BIAOfNJ/Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey), Instagram (@braininjuryallianceofnj), and Twitter (@BrainInjuryNJ)!
If you choose the t-shirt option when you register, a t-shirt will be mailed to you. More information for runners and time tracking coming soon.
To switch activities, please email us at info@bianj.org by October 2, 2021.
Facebook will likely prompt you to “add a donate button” to your post.
Do NOT opt into the “donate” button if you want your funds to be attributed to your efforts. When donations are given through Facebook, they are given to BIANJ anonymously weeks after the transaction, and we have no way of tracking where it came from. Unfortunately, once funds are given through the donate button, we have no control over them and cannot move them to your fundraising page.
It is best to include a link to your fundraising page instead.
If you are attending Saddle River Park, Bradley Beach Boardwalk, or Mt. Laurel, you will be able to pick your t-shirt during the registration period (9:00AM). If you are participating as a runner at Bradley Beach, you can pick your packet up at the Wonder Bar on October 8th, between 3:00pm-7:00pm.
The event is rain or shine.
