AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? BIANJ is expanding its Support Coordination Department and looking for a creative, personable, and resourceful Support Coordinator to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who is positive, organized, collaborative, and eager to take on challenges with a can-do attitude. If you’re excited to help individuals with developmental disabilities thrive in their communities, this could be the perfect role for you! You’ll work closely with a supportive, dedicated team with accessible and experienced supervision, and have the full backing of the entire organization to ensure your success.
This position is primarily home-based, with one required office day per month (in North Brunswick) after onboarding and training. This role will have cases in Central New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support coordination/case management for individuals eligible for DDD services.
- Develop and monitor personalized service plans for adults with developmental disabilities.
- Assist individuals in exploring and accessing community supports.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families and community providers.
- Travel required within New Jersey; a valid NJ driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (any field; social services degree preferred).
- At least one year of experience (including volunteer work) with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Previous experience in social services preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
- Must pass background checks through DDD and the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey.

Public Education Coordinator
The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey (BIANJ) is a statewide nonprofit on a mission to improve the quality of life for anyone impacted by brain injury through support, advocacy, education, and prevention.
We are seeking a full-time Public Education Coordinator to deliver and support transportation safety and brain injury prevention programs across New Jersey.

This position is primarily remote, with regular travel throughout Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties to deliver programs, conduct outreach, and work directly with community partners. Occasional in-person team meetings and trainings at our North Brunswick office (approximately quarterly) are also required. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends.
Salary: Starting at $45,000, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging, interactive presentations and workshops on transportation safety and brain injury prevention
• Conduct outreach to schools, community organizations, and partners across New Jersey
• Represent BIANJ at community events, conferences, and exhibits
• Support the planning and implementation of statewide safety programs for teens, young adults, and other priority populations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Assist with monthly and quarterly grant reporting and program documentation
• Participate in coalitions and partnership meetings to advance transportation safety initiatives
• Develop and implement surveys and evaluation tools to measure program impact
What We’re Looking For
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
• Experience in public health, education, outreach, or a related field
• Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating both in-person and virtual presentations
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A self-starter who is adaptable, reliable, and mission-driven
• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in public health, education, or a related field preferred
