The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey hosted our first ever FAMILY CAMP on June 25-29, 2025!
Families affected by brain injury enjoyed a retreat from the hustle of everyday life and while spending an extended weekend together in the healing mountains of Hardwick Township, NJ.  Family camp provided the chance to make new friends and connect with other families.  The facility offered lodging and meals, as well as full programming in a variety of outdoor and indoor activities.

Who is Family Camp For?

Parents with a brain injury:

  • Eligibility: Parents who have a brain injury can attend with their children who are between the ages of 4 and 18.

Parents of a child with a brain injury:

  • Eligibility: Parents whose child has a brain injury are eligible to attend if their child is under the age of 26.

This means:

  • If the parent has a brain injury, they can bring their children (ages 4-18) to the camp.
  • If the child has a brain injury, the child can attend until they turn 26, and the parent(s) can attend as well.
This structure ensures both children and parents affected by brain injury have the support they need.

How Much Does Family Camp Cost?

Family Camp pricing in 2025 was $100 for the first family member, and $50 for each additional family member.

Family Camp is made possible with generous funding from the Sean Reilly TBI Fund.
